Volunteer: Get Connected Site Management Team Member

This team is responsible for training and monitoring web page development and freshness for serving organization partners with ACT3 Ministry. This team will have writers available to create narratives for service organization partners' web page. They will also monitor. the timeliness and followthrough of volunteer enquiry response.

Volunteer: Facilitator Trainer Team Leader

• All ACT3 facilitators are given the benefit of facilitator training. This training is foundational to the quality and consistency of all ACT3 outcomes. The skill set requires the capacity to train others and lead leaders. 

• Facilitator training materials are developed and key to the training process for best facilitator practices.
• The course requires 2-3 hours for each participant to complete. This training best occurs in smaller groups.
• The facilitator trainer will provide recommendation of a trained facilitator to the Facilitator Team and ensure ACT3 Facilitator credentials are provided

The role of the ACT3 Coach is to lead a participant in the review their Calling Star and walk them through their Serving Exploration Worksheet. The desired outcome is the participant's understanding of a next step towards a serving opportunity in alignment with their calling. This process is designed to build on the reflections, prayers, conversations, and further reflections of the ACT3 Discovery Growth Group Experience for the participant and motivation to action by the Holy Spirit and then, through the guidance of the Coach, get participants engaged in serving.

Coaches will provide check in calls during weeks 2-5 to get acquainted and help them through the process of the homework. They will schedule a final meeting to work through the completion of the Calling StarTM and help them get connected to Galaxy Digital.

Coaches should review the Galaxy Digital website, ensure they can navigate the site and are familiar with the partnering organizations and opportunities as they relate to causes and skills. Understand the functionality of Galaxy Digital, know how to create a profile, respond to opportunities and record hours.

Board members play very significant roles providing guidance to ACT3 Ministry by contributing to the organization’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability, as well as serving as ambassadors and advocates.

Vision: Discover God’s calling for the 3rd stage of life by educating, equipping, and releasing a generation of 3rd Stagers into a world Jesus describes as fields full of potential and urgently needing passionate workers. ACT3 will provide churches and local community organizations resources to accomplish their missions. Mission: Provide transforming experiences for 3rd Stagers to align themselves with God’s plan for them to serve people in need. Participants determine their personal calling through a mapping process. ACT3 Ministry facilitates a journey filled with personal discovery, awakening of latent passions, impact of life experiences, key relationships, and the treasure of developed skills and rich talents God has created in them. Objective: Creation of informative and reflective environments within a framework of small peer groups. Skilled facilitators provide assessments regarding life experiences, natural abilities and gifts, relevant influences, skills, and discretionary time over the course of six sessions. A coach assists each participant to discover their calling/cause to serve as guided by the light of their respective Calling Star.

We are growing and we need your help.  I recently attended a workshop and they discussed a topic that I knew needed to be addressed.  We need to get more minds in the game. We are forming a "Dream Team".
What do I mean and what is required?  A Monthly Meeting - In the Spring, (March 8th) we will be planning and hosting a community event.  It will be a "Retirement God's Way" event.  We will be meeting monthly to plan the event and get sponsorship.  We need people to help us follow God's promptings for ACT3 so that we can reach those in or approaching their third stage with God centered advice.Commit to praying for us.  Asking God to show us, and you, the next steps to ministering to and through those in their third stage.  How to meet needs and make connections. As God gives you ideas, reach out and communicate with me.Please let me know if you are interested.  If so, what day of the week works best for you.
