Foster Parent Conference

This opportunity will be on Monday October 23rd, 2023. There will be a guest speaker for training the foster parents are a specific subject. The families will be accommodated with topics pertaining to foster care, how to maintain a hard placement and providing a nurturing environment. During this time, volunteers would be able to attend some of the conference, provide child care to foster children and participate in age appropriate activities with the children. There will be Villages staff with you to assist at all times with childcare. This volunteer position does require a background check by the Villages. This opportunity will help foster parents obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities to continue to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
